Too slow and too narrow.

I love Alvarez but he isn’t a midfielder and it hasn’t worked that half.

Why is Gundog on the bench?

Need a very sharp upturn in performance this half or it’ll be an unnecessary opening of the door.

There is no threat down the right side because there is only Mahrez who has absolutely zero support, Grealish on the left has Bernardo in support everytime we attack, no end product from either so far.
Pep must see it-it ain’t working. Bernie is half the player on the left.

Mahrez is not the problem. It's the fact there is no one within 20 yards of him when he receives the ball. We have absolutely nothing in the inside right channel and no one over lapping Mahrez. Swapping Foden for Mahrez will not make any difference.

So poor. No pace, no width on the right (I mean WTF is Mahrez doing) and absolutely no ability of anyone in midfield to take the ball on the half turn like KDB does. Alverez doesn't do that because as a forward his first intention is to protect from the defender who isn't even near him. Alverez off, Mahrez off, Stones back to Centre Half and Walker and Ake to push on. Foden and Gundogan to go on.
Don’t worry. We have enough points to avoid relegation!

Feels like an extension of the Fulham game where there's a very large de Bruyne shape hole in the team!

This needs to be urgently addressed in the summer!

This. Take De Bruyne out the team and you take any sense of urgency out of the team. Pedestrian, tame, slow. It's a difficult watch as it is, if West Ham scrape a goal from a corner or high ball it'll be even harder.
