It may be that we pull this back but I can't remember since Spurs away since we last played well for a sustained period during a game. Our slow build up play is reminiscent of us at our worst with Bobby in charge.

Sadly without Kompany and Fernandiniho we look half the team.

And Negrado looks half the player he was.

But apart from this we are not doing too bad.
I can't remember us playing well for a complete game since then.

Serious question here now; given our fixture pile up, woud you take a draw now, or sacrifice the FA Cup? Hopefully, that question will turn out to be irrelevant by full time.

I personally would have injuries aside put our strongest team out today. because I think this competition is out best chance of more silverware.

Why are people blaming Demichelis?..what is he meant to do,tell Manuel he refuses to play as he feels he's not good enough?...not going to happen, the fault is firmly at Pellegrini's feet. He bought him,he picks him.

Poor display. Said by others the second string players are way below par. We need the big guns on.

Silva will unlock the door. Keep the faith

No sense in going after the manager in this. The squad selection is rather obvious and we have enough talent on the pitch to handle a championship side. Even without Barca midweek it would make sense to try to give some key players a rest

I agree. Plenty of stick on here for the usual suspects - Demichelis, Lescott, Garcia, Richards, Clichy - but it's the others who've let us down much more noticeably. Nasri and Yaya have been awful, Navas and Negredo have both been utter shite. Aguero has at least shown a bit of life.

agreed..

off the pace a little (or quite a lot) & poor old DM seems to be cursed - is he a lightening rod for bad luck? (have to say in his defence, Kompany's positioning - he was sat on his arse!)

expect a second half with a difference..
