I think had he not not caught Bernardo on the ankle, studs up, a yellow is all he'd have got. That's why Kompany's wasn't a red for me, if the intent is to get the ball and they don't catch the player with any force then it's easier to make a case that a Yellow will do.

All good first half, penalty was correct, Red card a tad harsh and unlucky, we have had similar ones often enough.
