You are totally right.. his confidence is totally shot.. no composure and always been an average finisher at best. But my word I can’t think of a player in my 35 years of watching football who gets in so many great goal scoring situations… it’s absurd. If he could finish he would probably be the most productive player to ever play the game.

I've said it before, if Foden had Sterling's movement, or Sterling had Foden's technique, you'd be looking at a 40 goal-per-season player
