As numerous others have mentioned independently here, we miss the following enormously (who have not been replaced with like for like quality:

Kompany
Laporte
Sane
Fernaninho (effectively as he's on loan in defence)

Cumulatively this is the spine and the best wild card pacey winger in the league.
