That passage of play by Villa playing out from the back would never have happened in this league had Guardiola not arrived.
Playing out from the back, the requirement for keepers to be able to play with the ball at their feet, even the counters to him like the counter attacking and high physicality of the PL since 2024. He's completely changed English football. You can't say that about any manager since the Premier League started.

Watching Rico Lewis “run” towards his own goal might be one the worst things I’ve seen on a football pitch.

What exactly is the idea with this lineup? What not play the first teamers and end Pep’s tenure with a bang?

Rico and Savio have a similar problem- both are obviously talented and both are too slight of build.

Has Stones got a club to go to next season?

He said pre match he wanted to give time to players who hadn’t played much.
Also a few of them (other than the ones we know about) might be moving on.

We should still win.
They still look pissed after midweek.

Reijndrers, every time he misses he smiles. Would love to see him laugh
