I've just had a look at our xmas/ new year schedule. How rubbish is that? No rest time and 2 aways,,late Thursday in Sunderland then late Sunday v Chavs who have had a shed load of rest in between. We get shafted in Europe ( Dips had an extra day rest and we're home last night) how come we never get such concessions.

So yes Dortmund 2 extra days rest showed in 2nd half.

A final thought have Arsenal had an easy group stage? When do they play a decent team?

we managed gundogan/silva, kdb, and 3 attackers in the same team. if we look at the treble team we dont have a kev in terms of ability but in terms of midfield dominance are we lacking a Dave? our possession stats suggest we do but maybe if rodri comes back full beans he can be the 1.5 midfielder that allows you to jam an extra attacker on the pitch and possible Phil can be the silva.

Indeed so. And their Bayern game is at home, similar to Dips RM game earlier this week. Whereas we have the highlight tie of the ( match day 6) AWAY at Real. Just subtle things make a difference.

The fact the scum are home over the festive season adds even more to their match day revenue. When do we even get two consecutive festive home games?
