Hate to use the word shit about a City player, well not since Neil McNab, however struggling to find another adjective to describe Navas in front of goal. Shame because the rest of his game seems to have come on a lot.

Neil McNab - you seriously pick him out of all the players we have had since the late 80s? - he was great in our promotion season as the old head amongst the young players. I think most blues who saw him play will think he was more than ok for City.

Breakthrough game from Sterling. He has been unplayable. He showed great composure and clutch to score the last two of his goals. It has been a dominant performance so far. Raheem was playing just behind Bony with De Bruyne on the left hand side. Bournmouth had the misguided plan of playing a high line and Navas and Sterling feasted on that. Great to see Bony in the score sheet, he will look to continue this in the upcoming games.

In light of the scoreline, Pelegrini should be looking to take Fernandinho off after 60 minutes at the latest because of his yellow card situation. Also this situation presents a good opportunity for Iheanacho and Roberts to get in there and have some game time. Special mention to Zabaleta who has been fantastic, back to his best and also the defensive and tactical play of De Bryune, he tracked back and provided coverage for Sagna.

More of the same in the second half but the management of the team in terms of substitution is also very important in the grand scheme of things.

At work so unable to watch the game: according to BBC stats Bournemouth haven't committed a single foul in 45 min but we have committed eight, surely this can't be right, or is it more shite officiating?

Anyway 4-1 up at HT, great stuff, and get Fernandinho off before Dean books him.
The o/s matchday stats say that too.
