Reijnders has at least contributed defensively.
In my mind, that’s not primarily what he’s there for though. Foden’s always active, busy, trying to make something happen going forwards. I’d like to see the same level of involvement and creativity from him too. I know he’s not KDB, of course he’s not etc, but I would like to see more offensively.

For the most part I thought we've played quite well.....all that's missing is a goal. We deserve a few and should have had a few but for some of our poor finishing.
Hopefully that'll change in the 2nd half.

I know Foden is the golden boy but he's at best below average on corners and free kicks.

We need a specialist.

We are awful from free kicks/ corners! Just saying what needs to be said..

I miss the 21-22 season when we scored 17 goals from corners. What happened to us after Laporte got injured??

Ake crap
Savinho, my Gran has more chance of putting the ball in the net
Starting to worry about Viana
We are just playing players out of touch, instead of 20mins here 20 mins there.
What has Viana got to do with this mess? The only thing you can blame him for is the Savio extension but that’s more due to Sorriano and Pep than him. Only 3 out of all his signings are playing and one of them produced a really good save to keep us in this game

Well I missed Foden playing in that first half except on set pieces.

I don't know what you sre seeing, but we are producing quality chances constantly and moving the ball well. Having an actual winger who can do some damage instead of Bernardo is such a change of pace. We should be ahead 2 or 3 goals, and except Ake's stupid mistake and Ndiaye inspired plays, we have not suffered at all.
Genuinely, how can anyone’s conclusion from that half be that we are just constantly creating high quality chances?

An okish first half. Started slowly but thereafter dominated. Created a few chances and should really have scored at least one.

Gonzalez and Nunes have been very good. Doku and Savinho have looked lively but haven't taken their chances or created anything for Haaland. Need a bit more from Foden and Reijnders through the centre. Defence hasn't looked overly convincing and I'd be tempted to get Stones or Gvardiol on.

Hopefully we'll have tired them a bit though and there will be a bit more space for us to play in 2nd half. Never easy against such a packed defence.

We have to keep plugging away and creating chances. If we do that, we should win this.
