they're playing shite in Italy, we are in form at home and go a goal up...and end up losing....do we ever learn in Europe?

I have my doubts that we ever will at this stage. The first season or two, you could understand. But this s now our fifth (?) season in the competition and we're not improving year on year. Yes, we get tough draws. But the only way to break that cycle is to do something in the competition (q/f or better). Very disappointing.
