We were second best for a lot of that half so it's great to be winning two nil. Let's hope we play better second half and get through.

Was the same against Arsenal, we weren’t in the game for 35 minutes and then once they failed to score we just battered them. Let’s hope 2nd half goes the same way as the final.

Didn’t think there was much in that half generally but we’ve been ruthless as fuck and they haven’t. Goals win games.

I didn’t like the amount of space Wirtz was getting first half an hour. We need to sort that 2nd half.

No fucking about now don’t give these tramps a sniff second half.

I felt that a few minutes before the penalty we just clicked into a higher gear and things were looking easier for us and then after the penalty we started playing some really nice football ending in the second.

Great half of football. The dippers made us work very hard out there. Khusanov has been brilliant, Nico and Bernie have played really well. Goal of the season contender right at the end.

I thought we were pretty average until the 1st goal and then completely dominant since it.

The back 4 have been good with Khus and NOR excellent.

Rodri and Bernie kind of mirrored the game itself. Poor until the opening goal and now running the show.

Semenyo looking much better out wide than he has more central. Finally we have a genuine threat from the RW.

Haaland being Haaland. Loved the run across the front of the defender for the 2nd goal. If only he would do that more often.

Nothing sloppy at the start of the 2nd half. Get the next goal and kill the game off.

Not expecting anything from the league so if we do the domestic double this season I'll be content.

Both domestic cups and keeping Arsenal honest in the league is a really strong sign of progression from last year’s clown show, I’ll be more than happy with that.

This team will win the league next year. Not all the new lads have been 10/10 signings but even just Khus, Cherki and Nico’s development have transformed the team.

A long way to go to be back to our highs (which we’ll probably never reach again and we shouldn’t expect to) but we’re deffo moving in the right direction.

Strange half that. For 30 minutes I thought we were awful and disjointed. Doku looked like he’d been on the piss all last night and midfield couldn’t get to grips with Liverpool at all. Then boom the half spun on the pen and after that we were really good. Loved that second goal, so good to watch.
