Time to weigh up the pros and cons of Yaya after this.
He is not a holding mid.
Either play him off the striker or not all. Either will do me just fine...

He can't play behind the striker in our system as he doesn't have the mobility.

I've said in the past, and I understand this is way outside the box thinking, that the only place he fits our system is out wide when we play 2 in midfield and are possessionally dominant. They don't seem to use their pace much and instead cut inside taking little touches or shots from outside the box - everything Yaya is good at. They can also be carried defensively by the midfield and their full backs if necessary.
