When we were rumoured to be in for Reijnders and Cherki, almost all of my mates were very excited about the Dutchman, but I said that I thought Cherki was the real potential star people pay to see.

Nothing against Reijnders, who I think will come good for us, but Cherki has the potential to be our new Kev. Not a direct replacement by any means, but the sort of player that can breakdown stubborn defences we most often face and chip in with opposition morale-destroying assists and goals that swing momentum in matches.

Really looking forward to how Pep molds him over the coming years!

That’s my point. It’s his stamina. In more intense game he can’t keep up that was already the case in ligue 1
