KDB is an absolute class act, everything he does has intent, he's always asking for the ball, doesn't take 3 touches when 2 will do. He hadn't even needed time to fit into the squad or adjust to the pace. Absolute top quality

2 defensive errors got us in a big whole but a great De Bruyne goal has given us a chance.....lack of hunger and again lots of side ways passes and slow build up play early in the game but last 10 minutes we were alot quicker. Lets hope we come out in the 2nd half the way we finished the 1st....come on City!!

Mangala has been terrible and the reason we've looked disastrous at the back. I've seen blind people with better positional awareness.

Mangala had a horrific first half hour or so, has looked a bit better since (made one great block after Kolarov fucked up). But it's more a collective problem defensively, I think - we need to be (at least) five yards higher up the pitch. It's far too easy for the likes of Payet and Moses to pick the ball up in space, turn and run at us.

I'm a sucker for his style of defending so I'm biased but I've thought Otamendi has been great. I'd feel quite good with him partnering Vinny
