Bar two minutes of poor play (expected on our first friendly), we have looked really good. Lot's of positives - Foden being the main one.
Expect the rags (and the press) to go to town on their title chances, when any knowledgable fan can see that kick and rush will be the way for them this season.
I expect big noises from the masses about them, whilst our odds to win the league will shorten as those that know put the cash where the talent is.

to be fair not concerned at all... all in all that is their 1st team we are:

- with Fern in left back instead of Mendy for example
- Yaya in pivot role instead of Gundogan
- Roberts right wing instead of for example Sane
- Foden in place of Silva (kid is great to be fair but he is no Merlin yet ofc)
- Tosin could be changed to Stones or Ota
- Aguero looks like he has stone with him, and he was worst player on the pitch in the 1st half by far

not to mention Bernardo, Jesus etc

We are 5-6 players away from our preferred first eleven. Giving debut to Foden playing few kids , in the first game of this tour, when rags play their preferred first 11, played games already, and we look CLASS ABOVE ... will be great year I am sure about that

Defense all over the place.... Ederson's rushing out... But it's only his 1st game
Agreed think Eddie has been spot on, it takes time for the communication and understanding what is needed between the defence and the keeper to develop. After a few training sessions and 45mins that aint gonna happen but it will begin to.

Exactly. Anyone who gets upset over a friendly needs a slap.

Hope you say that only to give them game time if they are fit enough, he's not done a lot wrong.

We've always been and will always be a better possession/passing team. So we can't in fairness base who is playing better on who's dominating possession. That will almost always alwaysbe us.

Chance creation should be the basis for judging if we are playing better.
