Derbies can send you mental, all in all isn't the worst performance ( over reaction from myself earlier ) defensively solid just need to improve going forward. Would be delighted to see Iheanacho come on but see Navas coming on first.

Bony has been missing for me, he's held the ball up a couple of times ok, but even bog standard strikers are expected to do this.

His movement, positional play, and input into the game has been almost zilch.

For me bony has played his best half. Sterling very poor too easy to dispossess. I'd be tempted to throw navas on and move kdb to the left. Dinho outstanding.

As expected, a feisty scrappy contest played mostly in the middle of park, with players feeding on scraps, loose balls and trying to find that killer pass or brilliant play to unlock the defense. I believe we have been more dangerous when we have the ball going forward, have being in good situations but have not capitalized. De Bruyne in particular has had some good situations on the right hand side but has not been effective so far. This game will be decided on moments and hopefully we will be the ones providing them and with Yaya and De Bruyne, there is always a chance that we will find the breakthrough. Sterling has played well actually; lively, chased things down and was involved. Bony has also hustled about. The defense has been solid actually, effectively mopping up any balls into the box. Kompany's imprint (silly yellow card at the end aside) has been apparent. United has not had a shot on goal and has not looked close to getting in behind and credit has to go to our backline.

Things are bound to open up in the second half due to goals, bookings or other incidents. We have to maintain the composure and organization at the back and I am sure that we can grab the moments when they arrive in the second half and get the win. Cmon City!!!

Exactly what I was thinking. Good point sir

Clattenburg has been a disgrace. He is giving them everything in dangerous area and giving us token frees in non threatening areas.

It's subtle, but effective.

totally agree...they have been getting the rub of the green with the 50/50 balls that half as well - should even itself out 2nd half
