I think the call was right. I remember once when chelsea played liverpool in UCL, i dont remember the year, essien scored a similar goal but was ruled offside because of Anelka blocking the keeper's view.
 
Very high intensity, crowd angry, players angry. We need to calm down and try and keep the ball
