Your right, I mean it was quite obvious they'd go for us on the break though with the pace they have. And tbh every counter attack they do have they look like scoring. Been some belting goals though so far. Hope we can turn it around.
Don't you think every team we play is like that - even Huddersfield last week ffs.

He’s being asked to play further forward than Phil and then people are shocked he’s not the first man back in the defensive line.

Doesn’t matter how fast you are, you can’t beat the ball, and they can hoof it to Gordon far quicker than anyone can go from hanging around the opposition box to defending their own.

But he’s been in the tabloids so people are desperately looking to attack him for something.
But what is his excuse for quite literally jogging back on the second one, and making no effort to close Gordon down?

Probably a dozen things that go wrong on both goals but he was noticeably out of position for both imo

He’s not out of position he’s being asked to play 30 yards higher than normal and Gordon is being told to not bother tracking him so he’s left unmarked when the ball is turned over.

It’s what lead to our goal and it lead to one of theirs. Honours even for the managers on that tactical battle.
