I think people are being far too hard on Fernando. He hasn't been great but he's done his primary job, he's sitting deep and making sure Newcastle haven't had a free run at our back 4, covering and slowing down counters when Clichy and Kolarov have gotten caught upfield. His recovery speed is something that really helps us, Garcia couldn't have done 3 or 4 of the plays Fernando has made already

Not to mention the fact ITS HIS FIRST COMPETITIVE GAME!!

That was Jovetic's fault, unfortunately. Kolarov was absolutely right in having a to at him as he was in the perfect position to cut it back before Jovetic got in his way.

Jovetic trying far too much, far too often.
