Well, you could explain it away in football but I would want a penalty.

Eddie sliding to gather the ball, Cancello takes it away, Eddie already sliding, Newcastle player who Eddie isn't even looking at continues his straight run despite the ball going the other way, Eddie catches him and penalty.

If Cancello left the ball Eddie would probably gather it up and even if he then takes the Newcastle player down the ball is in his hands but yeah I'm still saying we got away with one lol

Never heard of Goodman. Is he an ex player. He certainly seems to have a huge dislike for us.

When the going gets though, Mahrez is nowhere to be seen.

He's been terrible so far. Perhaps his thoughts are already on the AFCON tournament. Presumably he will only be available for 2 or 3 more games. He's given the ball away four times so far - Cancelo has been unplayable so Mahrez being off a bit doesn't matter as much. Great defending from Kev there.

Obviously happy, but you have to wonder what is the point of VAR. Stone-wall penalty, would be absolutely furious if it was for us

They watched it and watched the player go into edison on purpose. Plus we had control of the ball. No penalty
