Not the best by any stretch. So far it's one of those games to try and grab all 3 and quickly forget and move on. As a spectacle it's pretty dire stuff though. Very very few chances for us so far. Hope it warms up soon or in second half.

What's up with Foden and Savinho that meant they couldn't start this. Didn't see any obvious route through Newcastle to Haaland today when the XI was announced and I've seen nothing in practice either. Needs changing urgently before Newcastle go a goal up and we need another comeback.

Can only think Pep wants to use them as impacts subs from 70 onwards hoping it's still goalless by then.

Thought his pass before with the outside of his foot to play in Haaland was visionary tbh

His passing will still be good when he’s in his 60s, he’s a magnificent footballer.

But his speed, fitness and athleticism looks more than a year older than the last time we saw him in sky blue.
