Shut up Keown, he may have said wait for the whistle but they normally just take the goal away and make them retake it, if they aren't happy with it. Not exactly "within his rights", if 99% refs don't react in that way.

It's punishment enough for a good goal taken a way, on a freekick where a fast one should have been allowed, the defence was in position his linesmen were ready... this ref is just slow as fuck and trying to slow the game down.
