Not sure it can be either, despite what that fat c*nt ex ref says. Nothing in the rules of football to say you have to wait for the whistle before taking a free kick, so goal can't be chalked off and you can't be booked. Unless somebody can post the rule that proves me wrong!

The only thing I can say in mitigation of the ref is that just before Kev took the free kick the ref specifically told him to wait for the whistle. I am not sure it’s a yellow card is justified but I think retaking the free kick was the right decision.
