Agreed, but if your Pep there is no way he can start over Doku right now in any meaningful game which is crazy when you think about how well Jack played just a few months ago in the run in.

The new energy that Jeremy is bringing to our attack is so exciting, and unless Foden or Doku pick up a knock anytime soon Jack will struggle for PL starts.
Of course squad rotation will help, but he was one of the first names on the team sheet just a few months ago.

Bad pass and Phillips was not alert.

There was nothing to be alert to. It was a hospital pass, into a crowded middle, that didn't reach it's intended target, period. Philips immediately tried to put in a tackle to make up for Gvardiol's poor decision.

Nothing related to lack of alertness.

Good half, nobody has done anything particularly wrong, but someone needs to step up with some responsibility to create a proper chance or have a proper shot. It’s all too nice and soft. The kind of football Pep hates.

Need a bit of Wu Tang Pep at half time
