Not one for being needlessly critical but Mahrez has been crap yet again. Big chance for him today to show his quality and give pep a reason to start him, instead he does absolutely nothing, their left back sussed him out from the start. Foden showing how easy it is to run and commit players and it’s not as if they have been ultra defensive and he hasn’t had the space. Imagine sterling against him today, the gap is immense.

Personally my opinion I don’t rate mahrez. Yes he’s tricky. But his ball on generally doesn’t beat the first man. His final ball is poor, decision making is poor. And just too greedy, and weak as piss! I’m happy for someone to disagree with me. Happy to be proved wrong. It’s not just this game.
