I'm waiting for them to say the total cost of the Newport squad is less than Silva's schlong

Played quite well. Need to keep the ball wide and work more overlaps.

Commentary is laughable. Who's the guy who said Pep won't want a replay?

Ian Darke has always been a grade A wanker.

Even in this pitch, Silva is still head and shoulders.
John Hartson

Take Mahrez off, he's not known for being able to break 10 men behind the ball with his fake shots. He can't counter on this pitch and he can't dribble past. Wrong application for a player here. The right side would benefit From Bernardo. I still believe Mahrez is a phenomenal player, but Pep has to stop putting square pegs in round holes if he hasn't converted Mahrez yet.

Played shit mate.

He’s moody with us as well.

Look at Liverpool fan Mike Dean last week. He looked like he enjoyed refereeing us; Marriner looks like he fucking despises us and can’t be arsed being there.

Marriner has always struck me the same way as FatPhil Dowd did - they never seemed to enjoy the job. They always turned up and reffed in the most begrudging way as though they had been turfed out of what they wanted to do!

Some flapping going on in here as usual. Don't know about the players but some fans expect us just to turn up and win. Credit to Newport but will take an almighty effort, a bit of luck and a dodgy decision or two for them to win this.
The shorter the game, the more chance Newport have of winning. They've reduced the game from 90 to 45 minutes so far.
