Jesus, the entitlement of some people in this thread. The majority of yous, actually. Peterborough are also out there and they have a right to defend their goal, which is what they're doing. Breaking down a parked bus formed of professional footballers isn't easy. We've got lads coming back from injury, they're playing 10x harder than normal because it's a big night and they're on the telly. Eventually they'll run out of steam because the style we play knackers teams out, even at the top level. They're not leaving any gaps at the moment because they're fit enough to cover them, but eventually cracks show. Newport away, Cheltenham away, Sheffield Wednesday away - the cracks always appear in the end. Sure, we have the Wigan game in 2018 to think about, but that was a freak night when we hit the bar, had chances cleared off the line, and then had a man sent off for basically nothing. We could maybe turn it up a notch or make some changes to help things along but the bloody hell, the flapping is outrageous.
It's been mediocre however you want to dress it up and make excuses. Nowhere near where we were before Christmas. Haven't had a convincing performance since the Chelsea / Leeds games.
They probably will tire but we should be creating better chances than we've done so far.
