Games like this tells us
1 - Yes yes yes we do need a left back
2 - Rodri is too slow for these UCL knockout matches - See Kante/Casemiro/Fernandinho
3 - False 9 works in such matches if the false 9 is Messi. Otherwise good od Aguero does the trick.
4- Their attacking three > Our attacking. Our Midfield is superior ll time
5- With so much attack and flair in both the teams - conceding by a corner hurts

These are the games where we need a striker of Neymar/Mbappe/Lewandowski/Haaland level. We simply cannot penny pinch or be afraid to break transfer records if we intend to be successful at this very elite level.
