Leipzig is very well organized and looks dangerous on the counter. Although it looks pretty clear that Pep hasn't got this lineup spot on exactly. Walker and Dias's passing being all over the place not helping anything.

Almost too easy. You could see the complacency creeping in as the half neared its end. Some nice moments especially the goal but not enough good chances created for all the possession we had.

Something wrong in the ranks?? No cohesion. Passing all over the place, defence stretch on very counter… what’s going on? Yeah I know we are 1-0 up but it should be more
Eh? Apart from Akanji having a slightly uncertain game in midfield we've been excellent. Defenders needed to assess their passing radars a bit but that got sorted and we've dominated since about the 10th minute. Deserve to be in front, should be further ahead, Ederson had nothing to do so far. Gonna take a serious effort from Leipzig to turn this around.

Can see the problems that centre forwards create for themselves when they are not in the game as much as they’d like. Both sides were well placed and each time the forward shot when a pass was the wiser option.

Much more like it tonight. No coincidence we have some world class back playing ;)

We are not using haaland in any way.

It’s bizarre. We stopped using him back end of last season too.

Playing with 10 men if we don’t give him the ball to run onto. I wouldn’t even mind some balls whipped in for him. Not sure Jack or Bernie have crossed it once.

A pointless luxury right now. Alvarez hunting then down is more useful
