We're playing like we're 4-0 up here, and we're not. A bit more urgency and variety in how we progress the ball would really help. Our wingers don't cross the ball and our central midfielders don't play through balls. It leaves us creating precious little despite our obvious superiority
You can’t say that people get upset on here

Leipzig have had to work their socks off that half just to stay in this. As the game goes on they will tire more and the space will come.
and Humphries (on my stream) is bemoaning the fact that they've not turned up.

They've turned up pal, it's just that they can't get a kick and are being pulled all over the pitch by our play.

I think this performance so far combined with the Forest performance (despite the result) have given me confidence that we can go on and win some pots this season. It feels more like the City of last season than at any point probably since we played United at home.

If we play like this every week we will be fine.
Just need a little bit more variation between passing and chancing on the long ball to the big lad. Keep them guessing.

Total control against a side unbeaten in 20 and who stuck it up Real Madrid last CL round.
Laughable dicks on here wanting us to take chances and risk losing possession easily by lumping it forward quickly like united and play a transition game which is THEIR game. Its like they've never seen us play before against kick and rush sides before.
They will tire second half as we've worked the fuck out of their legs. Then we may play some quicker balls in behind.
Let's see if they make changes and risk a half fit Nkunku as an extra forward. Hopefully we can then properly overwhelm them in midfield and score another couple.
Common you blue boys.

For the most part we have been excellent. Kept possession really well and gave them next to nothing.

I’m liking Mahrez roaming rather than being glued to the touchline
.

Dias and Bernie have been excellent.

Grealish looking good again.

I think Walker would be an absolute weapon on the right wing if he didn’t make Jesus Navas look like prime Beckham when crossing.

I would like to see us collectively getting our heads up and looking for a quicker pass and if we do that I don’t think they will be able to live with us. At the moment it’s all a bit slow.
Doesn't always happen when Kev is playing.

Haven't seen the Rodri-Gundogan-Bernardo midfield much this season because we can't play Kev as a false 9 anymore.

I'm hopeful that this shape allows Kev to play where Riyad is, because those 3 in midfield offer us a level of control and confidence in possession that is simply unmatched.
Could work. Be interesting to see.

We’ve had 74% possession and scored 1. All they need is get 1 goal and it could change the game. We need another goal

Got to be honest that first half was boring. All the possession but hardly done anything with it.

Recent history suggests we need more than 1 goal.
