Very tough game without Phil or KDB or even Akanji or Stones who would be helping us overload midfield.

grealish is an incredibly frustrating player to watch. The things that he's bad at, he's SO bad at them it's so comical.

Frustrating half. Not at our best but should probably be a couple up. Too many players wanting too much time on the ball instead of moving it a bit more quickly. Alvarez's movement has looked the most likely to create something. Maybe Foden and/or Doku on in the 2nd half at some stage.

Move the ball a bit more quickly and be a bit more clinical and we should win this.

What does Grealish do the amount of balls given to him in space and nothing comes from it, why the fuck is Phil on the bench, why the fuck do we pay palmer he has been great and just ignored and why the fuck have we bought Doku, absolute no creativity at all crying out for someone who can beat a defender

Alavarez with a good chance- should have scored.

Haaland pen- should have scored.

If one of those goes in it’s a different game.

So although we are not creating at will and are more pragmatic we still should be ahead.

Well, the match hasn't been great so far. I think it would be a good idea to substitute Grealish with Doku at half time. I'm really interested to see how fast and direct Doku is as a player. If he's as good a dribbler as they say, he could completely dismantle the defenders. Grealish hasn't really made much of an impact so far, that's for sure.

Rugby tackle players in the box is fine. Yesterday defenders shorts brush rashfords shorts nailed on pen!

How the hell has VAR not looked and given a penalty for that deliberate 2 arm hug and wrestle to the ground on Haaland.
