Is is a real test for Pellegrini now. This second half will tell us a lot about how far we will go this season.

A draw is acceptable, a loss a disaster and a win would scare the shit out of the other sides at the top.

Which one will he delivery.

How long before Pelle realises when teams play against us and can hold the ball well in midfield that Yaya and ferdi isn't enough.

Defensively Yaya is awful in this type of game

Yep - get Edin on for Yaya and put Serge behind a 3 point attacking trio with the Beast

the opposite of what we need

We just lack being clinical up top, Aguero should have made it 2-0,
and Negredo should have scored early on.

Getting royally raped in the midfield. Pellegrini's static tactics just don't cut the mustard away from home.

I'd take a point now cause he won't change it.

Could do with Rodwell as an option off the bench. More so than what we've got on there at the moment. Ideally we'd score before 60 mins then bring him on to tighten. Ideally.

But nah. We've got Garcia on the bench over Rodwell. Again.

Can't justify that. I fear he'll go because it's pointless him staying when Javi Garcia is rated above him. Insane.

Good old James Milner getting stick as ever when something goes wrong. No mention of the great cross he put over just near the end where Nasri had a great chance to score.

Navas could give Southampton some troubles when counter, Milner is too slow to go up and down all game.
