Absolutely amazed at the fact Pep has decided to move Gvardiol back out wide in a game where our centre halves were going to be the ones camping the opposition in.

His ability on the ball far exceeds Dias and especially Akanji.

It’s madness to play this way. We make games so much harder than they need to be. Quick passing around the box and shoot. This here is not effective.

Very comfortable for Southampton so far, They are happy to leave Rico Lewis free out wide and get on the ball and just staying compact centrally.
