Without any doubt this has been the worst performance of the season by a long, long way.

Guardiola has started with a very poor selection of players. It is surely indisputable that the first 35 minutes was shocking to watch. The possessional play has been awful, the defenders have fallen well short of the standards expected and the starting 11 looked like a really bad gamble.

All eleven appear to be the epitome of being second rate.
 
If we don’t change 2 or 3 at half time we’re losing 4 or 5 nil. Shocking selection and shocking tactics. No press or urgency. It’s a quarter final ffs

We have been like this most of the season for me

He makes it so obvious what he’s going to do, defenders just read it.

He’s the senior forward in this team tonight and he’s done nothing more than the 19 year old on the other wing.

He needs to lead the attack here!
