I miss the option of a player like Sane in games like this. His pace and ability used to strike terror into teams.

We don't have a player that generates that kind of fear on the break anymore. Sterling is too erratic in front of goal.
Never managed to replace the threat he represented.

Rodri and Cancelo have certainly both suffered form wise recently. Rodri is key to how we play so if he is off his game then we often play like this. Teams are targeting him and Cancelo now.

I'm trying to decide if it is worrying that both these two were good last season and faded badly towards the end, and they look to be doing the same this one.

Only just come in, just in time for the equaliser.

Not listening to Shearer or Lineker as they're both twats.

How have we been?
Not bad, not great. Saints started well, we grew into the game and scored and had loads of other chances, Saints ended well and scored.

Poor goal from us to concede.

Just muddling through this season now, no finisher is costing us in so many games recently. We’ll be better next season with Haaland.
