We where far better as the game wore on couple of situations but just couldn’t get that rub of the green and also sterling’s poor effort,I don’t even think pep should hook anybody when I’m normally calling for if some have been poor they are absolutely good enough to get us out of this situation now go do it second half and show why we are the defending champions..

The miss from Sterling feels like a backbreaker. Would take a draw all day.

Don't think anyone's really covered themselves in glory there. Suppose Grealish has looked lively.

That half about sums up why I struggle with Raz so much. I like him, I genuinely do, and when he's on form he's a terror to play against with his pace and movement. But there's no middle ground. When he's bad, he's a net negative. It's not that others aren't just as bad, it's just so visible with him because he fails at some of the most basic elements of the game.

Foden a bit off as well. I said this a few weeks back and it wasn't reacted to well but he's had a bit of a disappointing season for me. I thought he would really kick on this year and find consistency and become truly world class but he just hasn't. He has the ability but this is the sort of game he should be taking over.

Kev and Bernardo (!!) have been a bit anonymous for me. Need to get in the game.

Southampton has broken through the midfield quite easily so don't know what's going on there, if Rodders is having a poor game or our fullbacks playing so high up the pitch has left us exposed.

We'll see how they come out in the second half. Plenty of time to salvage this. Can only imagine the earful Pep is giving them right now.
