I don't normally slag City off, but this is pretty bollocks. Really hope Pep gives them a boot up the ass and changes something at HT because this just ain't working in any way.

COYB.

Started ok, wobbled after they got the goal, but gradually got back in our groove. Had the chances to be in the lead as the half went on. Jack needs to shoot more, Sterling needs to shoot better, Foden and Kev need to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and force it.

good - i guess grealish is our least bad player (still not great)

bad - where do you start

All the way through the first half I've been thinking this but... that miss just confirms it for me.

Sterling just has to go!

He;s a good player but he's not gooid enough End of!

He gave away posession for their goal and then fucked up when Stevie Wonder would've put it away.

Theres no coming back for him for me!
It’s a strange one with Sterling. Because as poor of a footballer as he is so often, as many easy chances to square a pass to someone who’s free with an open net to shoot at and he messes it up or as many easy chances he has to score and he misses; he’s still a nuisance to defend, and he still gets in the positions to score a load of other goals and get a number of other assists.

You can get players who look the part on the ball but actually lack the outcomes we’d get from Sterling at the end of each season.

At least he’s not always shit, the erraticness and width of the swing from shit to playing well is worth it over the season.
