It isn't coincidence this. Important game after important game we're not getting clear penalties. If there was the odd one against us, I'd accept that it was simply poor refereeing but this is systematic. Must be demoralising for the players.

Plenty agree with your more suspicious ideas mate.

Bad calls even out over time. He'll award a soft penalty at some point, of course it will be against City but the bad calls will be even and that's what's important.
Not so far this season. We should have had at least 2 penalties in the derby and CSKA got a laughable late penalty in Moscow, whereas we got one ''soft'' penalty against Spurs. They're just the ones I can remember off the top of my head. They're not evening out so far.

And the ridiculous handball not given against Roma also.

It's easy to hound a criminal.

But maybe if we didn't have dirty thugs going around beating women then they'd have it easier.

Instead of passing back to Hart can we just give it to their keeper instead. Hart couldn't hit a barn with a battleship, wtf has gone in his head.

The referee has shackled us in several ways. It is very suspect but since I've been shouted down in the past for suggesting corruption I will just attribute his decisions thus far to ineptitude.

That is usually a very fair assessment but leagues like Italian and Brazilian Series A show that while the volume of calls do often "even out over time" the balance of impact does not always do so. That is, the number remains relatively consistent in order to obscure the bias toward the desired outcome.

Milner on for Navas, please.

Still not sure where all this talk of Navas' pace comes from, he's nowhere near as fast as people think. Right at the end of the half he had the perfect opportunity to knock it past the defenders into acres of space and get them in a foot race. Shockingly he just fucked up...

I can't quite fathom how Stanley can be paid for his opinions, he said Aguero should have been shown a second yellow for what he said was clear dive on the edge of the box. Maybe he wants to be different but it makes Talksport as a radio station seem even more pathetic.
