I don't get the hate for Navas, he does a very important job for us. Yes his final ball can be inconsistent and a little infuriating but he still creates his fair amount of chances and goals. He also nullifies the attacking threat of the opposition with the amount of work he does.
I would much rather have Navas than someone like AJ regardless of the fact AJ scored the occasional stormer.

I agree with the theory but the reality doesn't support it. At the moment he's too often invisible, his end product often poor, his decision making is average and he is taking the safe short-pass inside option. But he needs a decent run in the side before making any firm conclusions.
