Heartwarming to see all the players immediately run and hug Zinchenko for the assist. Really deserves to go to a team that will play him in his favoured position as he obviously has the talent. Just not a left back unfortunately.

What a performance so far from Danilo absolutely buzzin. I feel so much more comfortable and hopefully walker gets some much needed rest.

Let’s rattle them and go into the Liverpool game with some momentum

I don’t think Zinchenko was to much at fault for their goal. The pass from Laporte was awful. Obviously the touch from Zinchenko was bad, but he had nowhere to go.

Oh behave. He took a heavy first touch and then his second touch put it right in the path of the Southampton player. He was 100% at fault.

Aguero’a goal aside, I don’t understand why our attacking play has changed over the last month or so.

We seem much more direct, get it to the wing, cross it in. Don’t get me wrong there were some nice passages of play; aguero’s miss, Mahrez’s miss on the counter etc, which reminds me of us last season, but we definitely seem less inventive and creative in our attacking play this last month or so. Am I alone in this?

Definitely playing a lot more long balls and aerial crosses, which makes absolutely zero sense given our general height and ability in the air
