Shouldn't be playing in a tough CL fixture. Should be getting some minutes here and there in games we have already won. I suspect we had no choice in terms of healthy/fit CBs for tonight.

Because we play slower, end up with 10 players in the last 40 yards of the pitch...and so if we give it away we are immediately turned around. It's not complicated. It is frustrating.

The worrying thing is, teams were happy enough to sit deep anyway for damage limitation but now they do it just so they can turn us around quickly. And it’s working.

Pep either figures out how to deal with that or avoid compressing the pitch so much.
