One thing that's really telling for me... In previous seasons people marvelled at how well we won the ball back by pressing high up the pitch. We've seen very little of that this season. Why? Because we aren't losing the ball high up the pitch because we are playing zero risky passes.
Our ability to win the ball back is one of our best qualities but we're too scared to lose it in the first place. We probably used to get as many goals from the press after an intercepted risky pass, than straight from actual risky passes.
I thought we had a good start before the goal, need to keep plugging away and be more positive with the ball.
