Agree bar last part. Excellent with so many blocked shots is a bit over. Blocked shots happens but generally counting as not a succesfull action
He has so many of them, he would be better off trying to play or shoot through the gaps, blasting through a box full of players rarely ends in a goal.

Playing well in parts. However, we've set up the same as Newcastle, it's just asking for Spurs to hit us on the break. I don't understand it at all, the minimal advantages we get from doing it are nothing compared to the massive risk it creates, gvardiol is perfect for a back 3 hybrid if you wsnt to put him further back or ideally have walker actually doing his specialist role not sprinting past their centre backs. 1 correct ball and they're clean through everytime they get possession, their poor execution is the only thing stopping them scoring. Maddison coming on would revel in this.

On the ball we're breaking their lines reasonably well we just don't have enough players who want to shoot and want to score, its always pass first approach.

Missing haaland in this, he'd have had so many chances this half.

kdb and doku will produce goals. Question is how early do we introduce them, can't see us turning it around if we go behind but I can't see them coming until until the last 15 or we are behind.

It seems Alvarez is the new FFS on here.

Decent first half, just a little frustrating in the final third. Could do with KDB on to give us a more attacking option in midfield.

Kovacic has been excellent.
Agree although when he gets in forward positions he doesn't get a shot off early and gets closed down - Kev gets so many goals from taking early shots when both keeper and defenders are not set. Every other part of his game has been top drawer but he should have worked the keeper a couple of times.

The way we are knocking the ball around quickly reminds me of when we went on our run last year - there is no other team like us. Makes me laugh when the commentators talk of how good Spurs have been by hitting long balls and not actually testing our keeper!

The story is building, we've seen it before. It'd be nice if it really was different this time.
