Correct. We're seeing the cumulative effect of several seasons with minimal summer breaks and a small squad, almost all of whom get dragged across the globe for bloody international games. - Plus more stupid competitions like the World Club Cup next summer.

Pretty poor transfer windows in the last few years esp the last one has not helped.
