Hard to pick which was worse, this or the Liverpool first half.

If it wasn't so predictable it'd be less frustrating, I said yesterday we make players like Shaqiri look amazing by how we play, I said Kolarov would get done by Shaqiri if he started. We all know Demichelis is a liability - yes he had to play but maybe change it so he has some protection?
We play a crazy high line with the wind in our favour meaning any ball in behind us is impossible for Hart to get & easy for them to run onto.

There's just no adaptability about our style of play at all, it's always Plan A.
Looked at the lineups pre-game & you could see they had put a plan in place - they have looked at our games, seen the types of players we are good & bad against and set their team up accordingly. Only once have I ever felt that we've done something similar (against Sevilla).

Simply has to change it at half time, be it formation or personnel. We know for a fact they're going to sit back now to stop us using the wind like they did in the first half - figure something out to deal with that Pellers, its what you're paid for.

The worst thing is that Stoke didn't have to do anything amazing to be 2-0 up.

It's the same thing over and over, pack the defense, wait until we make a bad pass then rely on our high line to catch us the break.

It's been clear for weeks that Pellers has lost the dressing room. No pride, no passion, no effort.

He has, he's a nice bloke and all that. Just can't motivate a team to save his life. I fear for where this season will end up. Them first five games where fantastic, since then it's been struggle after struggle.

It's the same shit tactics where seeing. Patient build up isn't working, we need to sit back and press in stages. Too predictable and to easy to play against, he's got to start mixing it up or he's go to go.

I think Pellegrini should make three substitutions- bring in Humphreys, Delph and Iheanacho and just go for it. It has been horrible in the first half. Success on the pitch is always built on a foundation of defense and the truth is that with the injuries our defense is nearly not competent enough to win the league or win anything for that matter. Priorities for the staff should be addressing the injury issue.

From Keeper who has just looked dazed throughout the game to up front, we have been poor, uncoordinated, no invention, no organization, the team has been all over the place. So Pellegrini should make the substitutions, give a strong talk to his players and they should come out and fight for their pride, respect and for their validity as premier league contenders. The league is changing drastically in the coming years and even this year so you cannot just walk onto the pitch and expect a result, if you have that backward mentality of easy games or going through the motions, you will get burnt.

Needs to be better in the second half.

You could ask Manuel 'What colour is this ball' and tell him it's blue and he would say yellow.

I have no idea how MP can't see that things couldn't possibly be worse with Nacho on. But I honestly think that starting him never even crosses his mind.
