Also Nunes and O'Reilly are giving zero support for the wingers.
Savinho being purely wide, he never roams inside, so O Reilly has no overlap.

Honestly he should just be inverting if that's the case but he just stays as a LB more afraid of being countered, they are attacking by his side alot.

Doku has to be playing in this team.

I though we missed him greatly last week despite us beating Forest.

He is such an instrumental player in how we attack this season, plus, their left back and winger won't push up as much with him on the pitch.
He also brings O'Reilly into the game more. If fit, he starts every time over Savi

Like a few recent games they are working so hard but will run out of energy later and it's a matter of if we can take advantage. We are playing it too slowly and they are well drilled. Nico G is being a bit hesitant to play a forward pass and that makes it obvious what he is going to do.

Erling being bullied again but fully expect him to go on and score now I've said that! He also should have buried that one great chance...

Ake, it's been fun but time to replace him - twice he's been on his arse as crosses come in and has been out of shape so much that Nico O'R is not having any impact as he has to cover so much space. He also allows too many balls to fly over his head when Sunderland are playing out from deep.

Ruben has been very good but we need quicker passes to release forward players - we wait so long that Cherki & Phil are not getting the ball in space in which to do their thing.

We have to keep with the process and the space will come. Would like to see more pace in our play. First goal is key tonight.

Just not moving the ball quick enough,, especially Nico. Dias & Ake compressing the fwd play too much meaning even less space between the fwd lines. Physicality s a problem just like forest tactics
He takes far too long on the ball, it's annoying as fuck.

I could put up with it of he attempted a diagonal ball of a pass that breaks the lines, but he doesn't, he just plays it sideways and backwards and it's a pass he should have played about 10 seconds previously.

Until offsides are fully automated we will never know what VAR are cooking up. I’m not convinced that goal we conceded at Newcastle was less offside than our goal tonight.

Both were offside. The Newcastle decision was clearly bent as the graphics showing it did not reflect where the players were when the ball was kicked. Absolute scandal that decision and nothing said

So far, this is our worst game of the season. Our game is too passive and slow, while the opponent is very fast, so we can't do anything.

Personally I think he's been bobbins. Laziest fucker you'll ever come across, O'Reilly is getting a tough time of it over on his side whilst Savinho is stood watching it all unfold and not helping out his mate.

Cherki the other side is getting back.and winning possession and making himself a nuisance, same can't be said for Savinho.

He's a prick.
I've never seen the ball double ricochet out of play off anyone more than Sav.
