Gvardiol has been excellent since coming on, so many interceptions including for the goal.

I know that Foden and Doku wouldn’t have look for the pass there! Imagine being more progressive as a defender than your offensive counterparts

We've got several players on the pitch that haven't played more than 90 minutes between them. Most are coming back from 4-8 weeks injuries. Lewis playing out of position.

Never mind played together in that system.

Bobb hasn’t done himself any favours tonight, not able to beat a championship defender all night, he’s got some nice footwork but just not able to make the most of his possession, shame as he looked a world beater before he got injured.

World beater ? A bit of an exaggeration. A young player with promise, perhaps. Hasn't got anywhere near those levels since he returned.

Nice finish from cherki, needed that as he has been very lively and our best player but ultimately ineffective tonight so far. That should do him the world of good.

No idea where you get he's been ineffective - he's created a lot of chances and scored as well. Yes the team struggled but he was the brightest player on the pitch and once others make more runs for him to find his assists will grow.
