Frustrating that we’re not ahead as we’ve been the better team by far. Our inability to score penalties is absurd though. I would genuinely let Ederson take them now.

When do we start judging how well we have played to include taking chances and keeping a clean sheet when under little pressure?

Its a recurring theme this season we are the ‘better team’ but miss chance after chance. Surely possession stats, chance creation are all well and good but taking chances is equally relevant when judging performance.

The on field decision was a second pen. Var cannot decide a yellow card so he could not be sent off. But if there was contact it should be a pen, that was the refs decision and any contact is not a clear and obvious mistake.

Jesus Christ !! People raving about Ilkay’s pens. His run up is shocking. Basic s**t. Have a decent run up, visualise the goal bulging, don’t change your mind and hit it with power. As good as we are the basics (as Delph refers to) are shocking in all of our set pieces. Too smart for our own good. Good half though City

We keep players back in our half. And mark their players. In desperate circumstances, we take a yellow. But if Eddie is as good as Pep’s comments suggest, that won’t happen very often.

Sorry to trot out the usual, but said on pre-match thread, that Sterling and Gundo both been awful, Bernie and Jesus should be on the pitch.
