Clarify the question, do you mean money spent, players on the pitch or what?
Definitely money spent. It doesn't cost 90m to overhaul one place in the league, so balls to that 'top 3' stuff. Sorry but we should be aiming for top spot only.

We should always be aiming for top spot, if you don't what's the point? My point is that we are basically rebuilding from the back with a completely different type of play to what we were doing under Mancini, the new players are a part of that new type of play, but a squad can't change something that's been ingrained over the past few years in 2 months.

Ban coming your way if you keep that sensible observation going.

We have some good players, but no great ones. Yaya flits into the game when he feels like it. Kun ditto. As for Edin. Too many of them lack the balls to take the game by the scruff of the neck.

No leaders.

That was poor enough considering the opposition look very very mediocre. Was expecting a lot more than what the first half served up.

Another poor performance,Toure is wasted where he is playing and i haven't seen anything to convince me Fernandinho is worth £10m let alone £30m,we just don't look like a team.

People want Fernandinho to fail for some reason. He's been very effective in his role. 4 tackles and 3 interceptions, both more than anyone else on the pitch. People just see what they want to sometimes.

this mate, been very good, if barry was in his place we'd be overrun because he doesn't have the recovery ability

Just not good enough...fernandinho..nasri..poor poor so far.
Hope we get the win because we are under pressure big time if we dont

Do you watch with your eyes closed?

Nasri has been great. A few decent corners, a brilliant ball to kolarov for the first real chance, and a mazy run that deserved a foul not to mention his ball retention has been decent.

From minute 25 on,we have played some of the best football I have seen since the 1st 35 minutes against Milan. Sure we haven't scored, but we are charging.

Nasri, Yaya, Dihno, Navas, Kun and Dzeko have been very good with their early pressure. I hve been particularly impressed with Yaya's efforts. ANd he seems to be getting back to his lunging runs.

There has been about 2 passages of play by us of any quality......the rest is just basic and uninspiring to say the least......we used to be able to play attractive football....now its just awful to watch
