Routine for the lads. Really impressed with how Nunes has developed. He’s been exceptional again with his defending and incisive passing

Been better when we’ve trusted our passing and process and manoeuvred them out of position. The opener was a classic example of repeating the same passes to the point where the opponent gets complacent and switches off.

But if he tried it all the time and kept getting tackled or the crosses kept getting cleared he'd get criticised also. I've no problem him picking and choosing his moments if it ends with an assist or two.

It would be good if he tried it some of the time, maybe 50% of the time. He's got a defender on a yellow card marking him, with his speed he should be having a run not stopping and checking back. Maybe even swap sides with Doku who's had no luck against the right back.

So happy we got 2 goals, I can relax a bit now. We have done well considering the line-up but what I will say is they have been so poor. Come on City let's get 5 or 6 and go into the villa game full of confidence!

The one complaint I've got is Savinho. Yeah he got an assist but apart from that I dont think he's ran at that defender once since the yellow card.

Big shout outs to Lewis and Nunes. They have proven me wrong and im happy to admit it!

Our fantastic set piece coach as we saw there with our free kick being passed to their keeper. He may catch onto long throws in around 3 or 4 years

To be fair to their right back, he’s their only good player and he’s got Doku’s number as he’s as fast as him off the mark and on the turn and is as strong as him. Looks a good defender.

Yeah I get that but it’s more when he does get into good positions, he has messed them up. He isn’t woeful but certainly the worst of our players tonight.

Been impressed with Nico G, Nunes, Stones and Rico tonight and the big man is causing havoc up top again,

The spirit looks good and the efforts in tracking and pressing were good.

Criticism doesn't equate to hate. He often plays below what we can realistically expect.
Playing well tonight though. He really needs to add goals to his game. He'd be next level then.
